  • Rumney Spring Fair

Posted by Marylynne S. (Middlesex FPF issue No. 2718) on 5/30/2018

On Saturday June 9th, 2018 the Rumney PTO will be hosting the annual Spring Fair from 10 am - 1pm. The Spring Fair will have some of the old style carnival games that we all love, as well as some new activities such as sack racing, a basketball shoot-out contest, a toddler area, and more exciting entertainment. Don't forget to come and stock up on some plants for your garden and get a handful of books to read over the summer.

We are still seeking food donations- this can either be a tasty dessert you cooked for a bake sale, or we will happily accept gift cards or money donations to fill in the gaps for the food concession.

Book donations are being accepted up at Rumney but please reach out to the PTO if you need to make arrangements for a different drop off.

We are still looking for some volunteers, so if you can give a little time that would be a great help. You can sign up here https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/60b0a4bafad2eabf58-spring or email the PTO at RumneyPTO@u32.org.

We have had amazing support in Sponsorship this year- a special thanks to Kinsbury Companies for a very generous donation!
We hope to see you all there.

    Treats for the Staff

Would you be willing to help provide the staff

with some delicious goodies to help get them through the long hours of conferences?

In years past the PTO, along with the generosity of wonderful folks like you, have provided the staff at Rumney with some nutritious and delicious snacks to help them power through parent/teacher conferences (this spring we are hoping to provide the treats for the Friday conferences 4/6).

Well, it’s that time again and we’re looking forward to our gracious community extending their kindness towards the amazing staff at Rumney!!

Don’t want to bake??  Give a small donation and the PTO will purchase some treats for you!!

    Snack Ideas

    • Cookies
    • Bars
    • Granola (bars)
    • Yogurt
    • Muffins
    • Scones
    • Breakfast breads
    • Gluten free baked items
    • Fruit and veggies (with dip??)
    • Pretzels and hummus

Let your imaginations run wild.  Let’s show our teachers and staff we appreciate their time by giving them a little treat for a long day.

Please contact Lauren Gould @ ljg7780@gmail.com and let her know what you’d be willing to contribute.  Treats are able to be dropped off after school Thursday through Friday morning.  Thanks to all!!!
