• Fall Soccer

Rumney’s “Open-Field” soccer program has started! "Open-field" is a non-competitive, skill-building program that will run for 5-6 weeks. There will be no games and we will have to follow strict protocols concerning COVID-19.

The soccer schedule is as follows:

    • Prek to Grade 2: Saturdays from 9:30 am to 10:30 am
      • Coach: Todd Daloz
    • Grades 3 & 4: Thursdays from 3:45 pm to 5:15 pm
      • Coaches: Lee Rosberg & Lauriana Capone
    • Grades 5 & 6: Wednesdays from 3:15 pm to 4:45 pm
      • Coaches: Aaron & Liz Guilfoyle

Students should bring their own mask, own water bottle, and own soccer ball (if they have one), and shin guards. Mouthguards and cleats are highly encouraged.

For the Wednesday and Thursday practices, only students who are deemed eligible to attend school that day  (i.e. students who have passed the health screening) may participate in soccer. For the Saturday practices, parents and guardians will need to perform a home health screening on their players. All soccer players will need to sign-in with their coaches.

Any parents, guardians, and other observers who elect to stay and watch practice, we ask they watch either from their car or wear a mask and maintain six feet physical distance from other parents and athletes.

The Athletic Director, Chris Cadorette, brings years of experience and education to this role with a bachelor's degree in physical education along with a master’s in public administration and experience coaching a variety of sports from PreK-graduation. Chris’s philosophy is simple and clear: we need to provide opportunities for students to find the fun in athletics and activities; shared playtime that is focused on developing skills and sportsmanship rather than winning; and community engagement.

If you have questions about our athletic program or have an interest in coaching, Chris can be reached at ccadorette@u32.org.

To remain up-to-date on upcoming athletic-related events, please view the new Athletics Calendar here.

  • Chris Cadorette recruits and selects coaches for each grade level. Parent Volunteer Coaches and referees are essential to the success of the Rumney athletics program. Please contact Chris if you are interested in coaching or refereeing. You are encouraged to try coaching, even if you have never coached before.

Information will be sent home at the beginning of each season. Soccer begins in September and basketball in November. During seasonal play, if you have questions about your child's practices or games, please contact their coach.
